Search Bible Classes

The search function searches Bible class descriptions and transcripts. When the search function finds the search word or phrase, you will be presented with links to the classes that contain those words. The link will take you to the class audio page. If you want to find where the search phase is located in the Bible class transcript, click on the Transcript:read link to view the transcript. Once in the transcript window, type Ctrl-F (PC) or Cmd-F (Mac) to enter the word or phrase in the browser search box, and it will show you all occurrences of your search word(s).

Search Tips

  • Entering a search string with no other criteria (such as AND, NOT, or quote marks) will return some of the context around the words you entered (which are highlighted) as well as a link to the audio player for the class.
That page will also have links to the video, transcript, and slides for that class.

  • Entering two search terms separated by the word AND will return links to all items which contain both of those terms as well as part of the description of each class.

  • Entering two terms separated by the word NOT will return links to all items which contain the first term but not the second term as well as part of the description of each class.

  • Entering a search string in quotes will return links to items that contain the exact phrase as well as part of the description of each class.

Passage: Colossians 1:18
Series: Colossians (2011)
Duration: 52 mins 58 secs
The deity of Christ is not some abstract doctrine, or interesting curiosity within Christianity. The deity of Christ is necessary. If Jesus was not fully God, then He could not have paid for our sins, and nothing else about Christianity matters. Many cults and non-Christian religions reject the deity of Christ. How would you support the deity of Christ from the Bible? In this lesson you will learn more about the significance of Christ's deity. You will also learn three Old Testament passages and three New Testament passages you can use to demonstrate the undiminished deity of Christ.

Passage: Colossians 2:10-11
Series: Colossians (2011)
Duration: 56 mins 6 secs
As we continue learning more and more about walking in Christ, we must examine how the meaning of life is defined. Is it determined by what gives us our own personal sense of pleasure? When we suffer, do we get the feeling that God is perhaps withholding from us something good we would otherwise experience? And do we think we know what it takes to solve our own problems?

As we grapple with today's worldviews of self-sufficiency, we learn more in this lesson what God's Word means by the word "sufficient."

The Bible tells us that all believers are part of the body of Christ. What does that mean? Listen to this lesson to learn five facts explaining that Christ is the head of the Church and all those who trust in Him as their Savior make up His body. Understand what fullness refers to and that it is only when we study and learn what the Word of God says that we can reach God’s goal for us to be like His Son.
