Passage: 1 Peter 5:7-8
Series: 1 Peter (2015)
Duration: 1 hr 5 mins 27 secs
How do we cast all our cares on God? Listen to this lesson to learn that this involves submitting to authority and obedience to God’s Word. Find out that when we have genuine humility God will lift us up, but that going through the motions of worship must be accompanied by a humble mental attitude. See that our example is that Christ did not depend upon Himself to bear the suffering on the Cross but was totally dependent on God the Father and that should be our mindset when we face adversity and suffering.

See four contrasts between those that God abominates and those He blesses. As believers we are not to be under the control of our arrogance but we are to humble ourselves and be submissive to authority and to one another with Christ as our example.

Passage: Matthew 26:30-35 & Luke 22:24-37
Series: Matthew (2013)

Can we do something so terrible that God can never forgive us? Listen to this lesson to learn that every sin mankind has ever committed or will commit was nailed to the Cross without exception. Because of God’s grace we are never without hope for forgiveness. See how the disciples were concerned about who would be greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven and Jesus’ surprising answer about serving others. Just like the disciples all of us are going to fail, but there is always forgiveness by God’s grace when we confess our sins.
