What is a Mini-Series?
A Mini-Series is a small subset of lessons from a major series which covers a particular subject or book. The class numbers will be in reference to the major series rather than the mini-series.

Tag Index

Each Bible class is assigned a few keywords or phrases called tags. This is simply an index or listing of all those tags. It is not an exhaustive index built from all the words in the titles, descriptions and transcripts. For that, you need to use the search function on the main menu.

Duration: 51 mins 46 secs
"Who does He think He is?" "I knew Him when He was just an ordinary kid." Listen to this lesson to see how His family and old acquaintances in his hometown found it unbelievable that Jesus was the promised Savior. Hear about those who did accept His Messiahship and those who rejected it. Discover the meaning of the word "believe" and whether a special kind of faith is needed or if the object of what we believe is what counts. See how Jesus threw Phillip for a loop when He revealed He had seen him under the fig tree and the significance of this. Consider the challenge of discipleship in your own life and see if you are willing to be a student of the Word of God for the journey of a lifetime. Also includes Luke 4:14-30.

Passage: Matthew 1:18-24 & Luke 1:26-35
Series: Matthew (2013)
Duration: 50 mins 59 secs
"What's in a name?" Shakespeare wrote. "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Listen to this lesson to learn the remarkable significance of the name of Jesus and how it was prophesied over 700 years before His birth. Find out the reason for His miraculous conception by a creative act of the Holy Spirit rather than the result of Mary and Joseph having sex. See how the adoration of Mary is related to pagan practices and how the title, Son of God, indicates that Jesus, although fully human, shares all of the attributes of Deity.
